Needing to pay off menacing (your mileage may vary) ex-pal Mike, Oscar needed to make £5k… and fast. Spotting Patrick leave the bookies with a £6000 win, Oscar sensed an opportunity. As night fell, he snuck in to the Trueman household and set into motion his scheme to steal the money. What he hadn’t accounted for was the presence of Patrick, who caught him in the act. As a scuffle broke out, Oscar pushed Patrick to the floor, knocking him unconscious. Bad move – fans of the soap are fuming. And many believed that the soap had ruined its once-promising new character by having him attack Walford institution Patrick.
