EastEnders isn't on BBC One or iPlayer today - here's when it's on next

EastEnders isn’t airing on BBC One or iPlayer today (Wednesday, July 23), leaving a big hole in the schedules where the long-running soap should be. This vacuum will of course be filled by sports, as it so often is, when EastEnders or one of the other soaps is pulled from air.

With the Women’s Euros semi-finals airing between 7.3opm and 10.10pm on BBC One, that means EastEnders won’t be making its usual Wednesday slot this evening. With a double-bill having aired on Monday and the soap playing as usual yesterday, that means there’s still one episode left to go this week.

But when will it air?

EastEnders isn’t on today – when and where is it back on?

Fear not, Walford faithful, EastEnders will return tomorrow. It will air on BBC One at its usual time of 7.30pm,

After taking the day off, it will also return to BBC iPlayer at 6am, dropping first thing in the morning ahead of the evening broadcast. With the final airing on Sunday (come on the Lionesses!) this means that TV schedules should be back to normal by next week.

What’s happening on EastEnders tomorrow?

Tomorrow’s episode of EastEnders sees Oscar Branning in danger as his past comes back to bite him. After a warning from Jack, he decides to do something nice for Lauren and Peter, offering to babysit while they go out for a meal.

However, his night takes a dark turn when old associate Mike turns up to threaten him over shopping him to the police. Lauren and Peter return home in the nick of time, but not before Mike leaves a terrible threat behind for Oscar to find…

Meanwhile, Suki is distracted when Vinny leaves Walford to visit Eve in Canada. Later, she pays a visit to the Granthi to seek advice about Avani’s pregnant. At the same time, Avani talks to Barney, telling him how she plans on having an abortion.
