The actress played Lauren Branning until earlier this year when she was axed from the soap. Lauren hasn’t been seen in almost a year (Credit: BBC) Lauren was last seen wandering in a cemetery after deciding to leave Walford and a life with boyfriend Josh behind after her sister Abi’s funeral. Since then it has been confirmed Lauren had returned to New Zealand to reunite with Peter Beale. But now Jacqueline has hinted she will be back in Albert Square in the new year. She said earlier this year: “We’re going to be bringing some people back.
