And Harry's overdosed - is it tragedy for the Mitchells? Features Harry Mitchell Teddy Mitchell Share By Kerry Barrett Nov 15 2025 By Kerry Barrett Nov 15 2025 Our EastEnders review this week is a little weary, as another week of drugs and gangs in Walford comes to an end. Except it’s not over because Harry’s overdosed, and Teddy’s banged up, and Kojo’s really struggling… and our most hated storyline of the year rumbles on. Anyway, here’s what we thought of the action in this week’s Line of Duty, erm we mean this week’s EastEnders, in our EastEnders review. We love female friendships on soaps (Credit: BBC) It was a good week for the women We were quite relieved when Nicola got involved in the Harry business. It felt like – finally – the grown ups had arrived. Though, to be honest that feeling didn’t really last! But aside from that it was a good week for the women in Albert Square. Priya talking to Ravi about what he’s been doing was excellent. We absolutely love Priya. Sophie Khan Levy, who plays the mouthy mum, is so clever at being super funny one minute, then absolutely heart-wrenching the next. We have said this a million times, but female friendships should be the heart of every soap. It’s what they’re made of. And this little glimpse of a friendship was a treat. Vicki flipped out when she saw some lads in the cafe watching the same misogynistic videos as the ones Joel watched (Credit: BBC) Vicki’s torment Similarly Vicki was having a super hard time this week but her and Kat sitting down together in the pub was good to see. Though actually despite the support of Kat, Vicki is in a bad way. It’s interesting to see that despite her injuries having healed, the scars of Joel’s attack are more than physical for poor Vicki. Though we did laugh when she offered Tommy some advice courtesy of her ‘old dad’ Den Watts. Apart from Den very much not being someone you’d go to for advice, Vicki only knew him for about ten minutes. We felt a bit outraged on behalf of Vicki’s gran – Pauline Fowler – who gave out useful (and not so useful!) advice every day. Teddy took the blame for Okie’s death (Credit: BBC) EastEnders review: It was a bad week for the men So, Harry stabbed Okie – accidentally but he still did it. And Okie died wanting his mum, which was pretty sad actually. And then Teddy took the blame, thinking he’d get off. But despite Ritchie being involved (the Mitchells are keeping Ritchie busy at the moment and we are here for that), things look bleak for Teddy. He’s now been charged with murder and he’s adamant he’s going to plead guilty so there’s no questions asked about the drugs gang that could bring trouble to Harry’s door. And after all that, Harry overdosed and Nicola found him out cold on the sofa. Plus we’re wondering now if Teddy’s leaving? Is that it? Has he gone? We think that would be a shame. While we’re on the subject of the Mitchells, we’re still ignoring Nicola’s pregnancy. Nope. Can’t deal with that. EastEnders review: Junior’s gone Someone who definitely has gone is Junior. He said goodbye to Albert Square this week, and it all felt a bit flat. We thought Junior had some potential but the affair with Cindy knocked him off kilter before he really got established. But Cindy’s back! Yay! We’re glad to see her. Read more: Who’s leaving, joining and returning to EastEnders? Complete list of cast exits, arrivals and returns.
