As Sharon leaves EastEnders AGAIN, here’s when to expect her back as fans predict new romance

Sharon made her comeback to Walford this week for Vicki and Ross’ wedding, leaving fans thrilled. However, in Friday’s episode (May 28), she once again left the square.
But when will she be back? And who do fans think she’ll be starting a romance with next?
Sharon returns to EastEnders
Sharon returned to EastEnders this week after being last seen in Autumn last year. As fans will know, she fled Walford after finding out Zoe Slater’s twins were not actually fathered by Sharon’s husband Dennis Rickman.
But with Vicki and Ross’ wedding taking place this week, the Queen of Walford headed back for the dramatic big day. And in typical soap fashion, things didn’t go smoothly on their big day as Vicki’s affair with Zack was exposed.
As expected, there were fireworks, punches and a ton of drama. Even Sharon was left shocked by her siblings’ shock affair.
Later on though, Sharon caught up with Phil Mitchell and apologised for not being there for him during Nigel Bates’ dementia battle and death.
But soon enough Sharon revealed she was leaving the square again. But it’s not all bad news as the Walford icon will be back soon…
When is Sharon coming back?
It’s good news for Sharon fans as Sharon revealed to Phil that she would be back in Walford in a “month or so” as she had a few loose ends to tie up in America.
What’s more, soap expert Sharon Marshall also confirmed this week on ITV’s This Morning that it won’t be too long until Sharon returns.
“She’ll be back for a very short stint for the wedding, and then go off. But then she is back for good in about a month’s time,” Sharon said.
And according to a new fan theory, Sharon could even be set for a new romance…
Sharon set for new romance?
Predicting she won’t be alone when she returns, one person mused on X: “When she comes back with a new man that’s tall, dark & handsome.”
Another fan then demanded that bosses don’t put her back with former flame Phil, who she has some serious history with. They wrote: “I hope so, I don’t want Phil and Sharon again tbh.”
A third agreed: “Omg, I’ll be so irritated if the writers decide to go there again.”
