Johnny and Callum broke the news of their relationship to Lexi this week – thanks to overbearing Johnny, who spilled their beans with his impatient attitude. In last night’s episode (Tuesday, October 14), Callum tried to make things right with Lexi. In an attempt to build a bond between Lexi and his new man, he facilitated a lunch for them all, sponsored by moneybags lawyer Johnny. It was then that Lexi turned the tables, sending Johnny’s work contacts a scandalous e-mail from his phone. Some EastEnders fans, however, have taken issue with Johnny’s recent behaviour – with a number predicting that he may become the soap’s next villain. And some took note of the red flags he appeared to be raising. I feel a dark SL coming and I’m here for it,” wrote one fan. “This scene didn’t sit right with me at all. Johnny is very passive aggressive,” said another. “Johnny was literally buying Lexi gifts last night. Then he’s wanting to call her Lex then demanding that Callum tells Lexi in front of him about their relationship. It’s giving abusive bunnybolier and seriously sinister and creepy vibes,” a third said. A fourth commented: “I agree with some of the theories about are a potential abusive control storyline with Callum & Johnny, similar to Theo/Todd in Corrie.
