EastEnders hasn’t been airing on BBC One this week, with Wimbledon coverage taking the soap’s place in the schedules on Monday and Tuesday – but is it back on air tonight, Wednesday, July 9?

For the past two days, soap fans have been able to watch EastEnders on BBC iPlayer, as both Monday and Tuesday’s episodes were released for streaming as usual. However, this left those who prefer to watch the soap as it’s broadcast out in the cold.

Here’s where you can watch EastEnders tonight – as well as the rest of the week’s episodes.

Is EastEnders back on BBC One tonight?

Yes, EastEnders will return to air tonight! To make up for the last two nights, the soap will air a double bill at 8pm and 8.30pm (billed as Part 1 and Part 2).

With these episodes having already aired on BBC iPlayer, Wednesday’s episode (which airs tomorrow at 7pm) is already available on the streaming service now. Thursday’s episode will drop on iPlayer at 6am tomorrow, before airing on BBC One at 7pm tomorrow.

Ravi makes a dangerous deal tonight

In tonight’s double bill, Ravi takes desperate action to make up for the shortfall caused by Bernie’s theft. With Avani’s expensive birthday party looming, he contacts Nicola for information on a drugs contact.

However, when he meets dealer Okie, they grow spooked by the arrival of a police car. He stashes his vehicle at The Arches – where a horrified Kojo and Harry discover the drugs in the boot.

The next day, with Kojo refusing to return to work, Harry tries to get Ravi to move his car. Spotting a tense exchange between Ravi and Harry, Nicola grows suspicious. Breaking into the garage, she decides to investigate for herself. But is she responsible for the drugs going missing?

Elsewhere, Callum is full of guilt after he cheats on Ben with Johnny. And Lauren is desperate to get her relationship with Peter back on track. A family picnic improves relations between the pair… but she’s soon backed into a corner by Cindy, who insinuates something’s going on between her and Zack.
