Jasmine drops an enormous bombshell in EastEnders tonight (Monday, December 15) as she’s questioned by the police over her attack on Cindy. Jasmine returned to Walford last week, surprising Oscar as he celebrated his 18th birthday. As Cindy and the Beales react to news of Jasmine’s return, there’s a major surprise in store when Jasmine admits exactly who she is, and why she arrived on Albert Square in the first place. Oscar tried to support Jasmine (Credit: BBC) The truth about Jasmine revealed in EastEnders tonight As the soap continues tonight, Jasmine and Oscar share a secretive meeting. News of her return soon spreads, however, when Penny spots them together. Oscar returns home, where Ian and Cindy confront him over what he’s been up to. Oscar is horrified when Ian tells him that he’s called the police, and rushes to find Jasmine at Container Junction. While Oscar argues with uncle Jack outside, Jasmine sits down with detectives – who ask her if she’s working for the Ford crime family. This, Jasmine denies. She then reveals that she’s arrived in Walford in search of her biological mother. And who is Jasmine’s birth mum? None other than Zoe Slater! But wait… didn’t Zoe’s daughter die in childbirth? After growing worried about Jean, Kat approached Anthony for help (Credit: BBC) Anthony learned the truth about Zoe’s twins Elsewhere in the episode, a guilty Kat enlisted Anthony’s help in finding Zoe’s son. He arrived at the hospital, where he tapped an old colleague for information. He was shocked to learn that Zoe had lied about the twins’ date of birth – meaning that he could be their father after all. In a second stunning revelation, he also discovered that doctors had managed to resuscitate Zoe’s daughter. This lends credence to Jasmine’s claims that she’s Zoe’s daughter.
