They’re saying that Joel is potentially going to kill someone? I mean after today’s episode I can really start to see that eventually happening because THAT BOY AIN’T RIGHT,” wrote one fan on a Reddit thread. This came accompanied by a short video of a disapproving Mo Slater saying “I never liked him from day one.” It’s worth noting that these ‘rumours’ were begun by an AI-generated TikTok account, so are unlikely to be true. After watching him raise his hand to Avani, she took Joel home where he was completely unrepentant. As he launched into an unhinged tirade, Joel told Vicki that women needed to be ‘re-educated to their purpose.’ That purpose? Having babies, as soon as they underwent puberty. Shocked Vicki tried to correct Joel on his (awful, awful) opinions – but was left shocked when he threatened to give her a ‘slapping’ if she continued to cross him.
