Last night’s episode of the soap (Wednesday, August 27) saw Julie acting in a particularly shifty manner, snapping at Nigel when he mistakenly answered her phone. He explained that he’d taken a message for her, but Julie wasn’t happy at him for his accidental snooping. “That’s my phone Nigel,” she told him. “I’ll answer it myself in future.” Without explanation, she left them to it, telling him and Phil that she was ‘just popping out for a bit.’ But a bit of what, exactly? Judging by the look exchanged by Phil and Nigel, they both suspected that there was something amiss too. What guilty secret is Julie hiding?
