Over for good? Kim and Howie's future revealed in early iPlayer release

WARNING: This article contains huge spoilers for today’s episode of EastEnders, which is streaming on BBC iPlayer now but has not yet aired on BBC One – in which the future of Kim Fox and Howie Danes is revealed.

The future of Kim and Howie’s relationship is revealed in EastEnders today (Thursday, December 4), as the family reel in shock at Anthony’s party pooping bombshell. Howie has some tough questions to answer after Anthony revealed him to be a thief and a blackmailer – not least from his wife-to-be, Kim.

Can Howie keep a hold of his family? And will Anthony be able to protect his own dirty little secret?

Howie’s out in the cold in EastEnders today

As the story continues today, Patrick, Kim and the Truemans demand answers. Howie admits to stealing Penny’s ring and blackmailing the Brannings, leaving Kim and Patrick heartbroken.

As Howie agrees to leave, all eyes turn to Anthony. Patrick demands to know how long he’d known about Howie… and why he chose to expose him so publicly at Kim’s engagement party.

Furious, Kim also lashes out, sharing how ex-wife Sophie has taken out a restraining order against Anthony. Patrick is devastated, and takes a turn for the worse as Yolande orders everyone out of the house.

Kim breaks it off with Howie in EastEnders today

As all involved go their separate ways, Kim sits down with Denise for a drink. She admits that she still has feelings for Howie, and doesn’t know if she can end their relationship.

Meanwhile, Howie visits with Denzel, Anthony and Yolande, all of whom reprimand him for his actions. Anthony manages to make things right with Patrick, claiming that Sophie is exaggerating about the behaviour which led to his restraining order.

Finally, Howie goes to see Kim, where he fights for their relationship. Kim isn’t having any of it though, realising that he hasn’t changed from the conman he was when they first met, all those years ago.

Howie’s heart breaks as she calls off their engagement… and the entire relationship.

Is this it for Howie and Kim?
