Ravi holds terrified Harry captive as hidden camera revealed... but fans 'aren't buying' it

Harry's letting Ravi walk all over him

Ravi Gulati menaced Harry Mitchell in EastEnders last night (Wednesday, October 8), as Teddy’s ‘hidden’ camera plan backfired. Learning of the camera after Kojo found it among his toy cars (thanks to Teddy’s absolutely terrible attempt at surveillance), Ravi confronted Harry.

Now trying to protect his dad as well as Kojo, Harry told him that he’d been the one who planted the camera. “We all make mistakes,” said Ravi menacingly, before donning a pair of leather gloves, presumably ready to give Harry a beating.

We know from EastEnders spoilers that Ravi and Okie will hold Harry hostage next week – but fans just aren’t buying it.

Harry could ‘handle’ Ravi, EastEnders fans point out

As last night’s scenes aired, fans shared their thoughts on the situation. And many believe that Harry would be able to take Ravi in a fight.

“At the start of his character, Harry wouldn’t have put up with Ravi. But he’s turned into a bit of a wet wipe, though arguably less one-dimensional,” wrote one fan on X.

“Harry could batter Ravioli around that flat no probs,” said another.

“Sorry I still can’t buy all this nonsense of Harry supposedly being scared of Ravi. For a start he is twice his size,” said a third.

“Harry could take Ravi imo, he could’ve just popped him one time whilst Ravi was slipping into those gloves,” another agreed, on Reddit.

Ravi and Okie hold Harry hostage in EastEnders spoilers

Regardless of whether he could… evidently he doesn’t. As next week’s episodes get underway, Okie and Ravi hold Harry captive in the flat as they demand to know what the camera is connected to.

Meanwhile, when Teddy worries about his son’s sudden disappearance, Ravi and Okie force Harry to make a call. Harry tells them that the camera was connected to his computer, but still Ravi refuses to let him go.

The next day, Ravi decides to take a holiday with his family, leaving Okie in charge. Before he goes, he instructs Okie to release Harry, although Okie has other ideas.

And, as Harry continues to despair, Okie arranges a date with Gina. Held hostage and with his life crumbling around him, Harry turns to drugs.
