After finding an old photo of Kat, Alfie with Tommy, Bert and Ernie, Jean becomes desperate to help her and comes up with a plan to get her cheap tickets to see her family in Spain. Despite Mo and Stacey warning her to stay out of Kat’s business, Jean pushes ahead and eventually the other Slaters come round and give Jean box of dodgy shampoo to sell. She’s delighted when she tells Kat the news while Kat does her best to cover her obvious worry and agrees to go to Spain. Being the only person who knows what happened with Kat and Alfie, she wonders if Kat is lying and has other plans instead. Hayley wonders if Kat is really going to Spain (Credit: BBC) Hayley then takes the opportunity to try and blackmail Kat, telling her that she’ll reveal the truth to the others if she doesn’t pay her to stay quiet.
