Alfie was on the verge of chucking Zoe out when her tormentor struck again, scrawling a menacing message on the door exterior. That’s Zoe off the hook then – but who was responsible? Seeing paint on the jewellery piece, Zoe assumes that it belongs to her stalker – and immediately suspects Vicki. Alfie suggests caution, and they visit Jack, in the hope that he can investigate. However, Jack tells them that he’ll need something more concrete before he can do anything. Witnessing this exchange, Jean sticks her oar in, once again blaming Zoe for driving Stacey out of Walford. Determined to expose Vicki, Zoe enlists Kat’s help as lookout while she breaks into Sharon’s home. She fails to find the evidence she’s looking for, but is caught out by Kathy, who marches her back to The Vic. Was Jean behind it all? Downstairs, he and Kat are discussing Zoe’s problem when Jean arrives – and claims the paint-stained earring as her own. “Oh, where’d you find this?” she exclaims, as a stunned Kat and Alfie look on. “I’ve been looking for it everywhere!” Has Jean inadvertently revealed herself to be Zoe’s stalker – or is this just another red herring in the case?
