BBC/Composite: EastEnders Insider Share By Joel Harley Aug 4 2025 By Joel Harley Aug 4 2025 Vincent Hubbard set to return from beyond the grave, fans predict Vincent was killed in 2018... or was he? Kim Fox Vincent Hubbard Share By Joel Harley Aug 4 2025 By Joel Harley Aug 4 2025 Fans of EastEnders have predicted that the late Vincent Hubbard is set to return to Walford. Vincent was the husband of Kim Fox, and appeared on the soap between 2015 and 2018. He was murdered following a run-in with villainous Aidan Maguire and Phil Mitchell. Aidan’s thugs had Vincent killed, although, in his defence, Phil had only intended to have Vincent scared off, and not actually murdered. Vincent scored a mention in last week’s episodes, as Howie overheard Kim comparing him to her ex, Vincent. This left poor Howie feeling downbeat, and feeling though he was unable to provide for his family when compared to the flashy Vincent. Fan favourite Vincent was played by Richard Blackwood (Credit: BBC) Vincent to return to EastEnders, fans predict To some, the Vincent Hubbard mention was a sign of something much bigger to come. Namely, his return to Walford. “Omg they’re going to say the Vincent video was AI,” said one fan on X. I hope this leads to us finding out that Vincent isn’t really dead,” a third speculated. Could Vincent have survived his run-in with Aidan’s thugs? Vincent was ‘killed’ in 2018 (Credit: BBC) Did Vincent survive? Kim learned about Vincent’s death in 2021, three years after he went missing. Vincent had disappeared after agreeing to give the police information on a heist by gangster Aidan. However, he was betrayed by the police officer he spoke to – who pulled a gun and led him away to his death. It was while searching for Vincent that Kim met Howie. Children’s entertainer Howie had found Vincent’s wallet at the scrapyard where he’d been killed, and confirmed that ‘three people would show up’ and ‘only two would leave.’ Phil also showed Denise proof of Vincent’s death, with video footage apparently proving his death. But with these events all taking place off-screen, there’s always the outside chance that Vincent could have survived his run-in with Aidan’s thugs. “Well where is he? And if he turns up he’s got to turn up with something in his hands, cos it’s been a long while now,” Kim Fox star joked in a recent interview with The Mirror. “We’ve cared for the children, out of house and everything. Watch this space people.” Read more: Who’s leaving, joining and returning to EastEnders? Complete list of cast exits, arrivals and returns.
