What time is EastEnders on tonight? Soap to air double bill ahead of more schedule chaos

There's a double bill on tonight - but why?
Joel Harley

EastEnders will air a double bill on BBC One tonight (Monday, July 21) ahead of more disruption to the week’s soap schedules. This comes as the broadcaster amps up to show the Women’s Euros Semi-Finals on Wednesday, pulling the soap from air.

However, while there won’t be an episode that day, it’ll make up for the shortfall by playing an extra episode today, in a two-parter on BBC One.

But what time is EastEnders on tonight, and what’s happening the rest of the week?

What time is EastEnders on BBC One tonight

EastEnders airs on BBC One at its usual time of 7.30pm tonight. It will then be followed by another episode immediately afterwards, at 8pm.

Both episodes are also available for streaming now, on BBC iPlayer. The soap will then return to air on BBC One tomorrow (Tuesday, July 22) for a single episode at 7.30pm.

With The Women’s Euros’ playing in its usual slot on Wednesday, EastEnders will then take a day off before returning on Thursday, at 7.30pm. Episodes are expected to drop as normal on BBC iPlayer, although it remains to be seen whether Thursday’s episode will be made available a day earlier, on Wednesday.
