There’s been much confusion this week, with multiple changes to the soap’s release schedule on both BBC One and iPlayer. Even today, early morning viewers were dismayed to find that the soap didn’t appear to be available for streaming this morning (Wednesday, July 16), flying in the face of its usual 6am release. It did appear soon afterwards, but this was yet another disruption to the already messy schedules. This latest change comes amid the Women’s Euros Quarter-Finals, which will air today, tomorrow and on Friday at 7.30pm on BBC One. But when is EastEnders on BBC One today? EastEnders is scheduled to return to BBC One tonight at the earlier time of 7pm, before the scheduled football match. Those who prefer to stream the daily goings-on in Walford can also do so now, with the soap having now being made available on iPlayer. Unfortunately, the chaos isn’t over yet. With the football still ploughing ahead, next week’s EastEnders will also be affected.
