Ravi was riding on a high after blackmailing Jack Branning, and already spending that £100,000 in his head. After taking his family to The Vic, Ravi was summoned outside by Okie, where an ominous message awaited. Okie handed over an envelope from Ravi’s higher-ups, making it very clear that retirement wasn’t on the cards for Ravi. Opening it up, Ravi found photographs of his children inside. The implication being that he keep dealing… or else. But who’s Max’s boss? Max is headed back to Walford (Credit: BBC) Who’s Ravi Gulati’s drug boss in EastEnders? Max Branning The soap revealed last year that Max Branning was back on the scene, and now romantically involved with Zoe Slater. Beyond that, we know little about what Max has been up to over the last few years. But where’s Max getting his money? Some have wondered whether he might have turned to the drug trade. “What if jack’s brother Max is Ravi’s drug boss?” asked one fan on X. “Yep the reason why they’ve got Jack involved is because the man Ravi can’t protect him from is his own brother Max,” said another. “So my thing is nicola has a drugs contact who was higher up and we know max is into some bad stuff so surely max has to be behind the operation right???” another wondered. Max has been involved in his share of shady shenanigans over the years, but can we really see him turning drugs Kingpin? Fans have long theorised that Vincent could be alive (Credit: BBC) Vincent Hubbard The other prevailing fan theory is that Vincent is the one pulling Ravi’s strings. Vincent was ‘killed off’ in 2018, although, crucially, his death took place off-screen. As a result, many have wondered whether he might have survived his grisly fate and now be running Ravi’s drugs business. Sharing this theory on a Reddit thread, one fan wrote: “What if Vincent is running the drug operation?” This post included a picture of Ravi, going about his shady business with associate Okie. “That would a great twist. We get the duff duff after he steps out of a dark alley way and his face is then illuminated by the street light to reveal an older, hardened and scarred Vincent,” another fan replied. “Howie gets caught up in the drug dealing to make himself money as he’s skint and Vincent is his boss,” said a third. Chrissie Watts Looking further back into the past, some wondered whether Chrissie Watts could be running the show. Chrissie is now a free woman after being released from prison last year, and reunited with Alfie’s cousin, Jake Moon. And what could Chrissie be up to now? “It’s war! They could be anyone from Chrissie Watts to Aiden McGuire,” wrote one fan on X, of Ravi’s tormentor. Chrissie’s ‘return’ would tie in nicely to Zoe’s own comeback, given how they were responsible for the death of Chrissie’s husband, Dirty Den. “All we need is Chrissie, Jake Moon and Sam back,” said another. Aidan was last seen in 2018 (Credit: BBC) Aidan MacGuire And, talking of Aidan… The Irish gangster was the biggest villain of 2018, and ultimately responsible for Vincent’s death.
