Anthony’s shady behaviour attracted suspicion from his family after Kim answered a call intended for the good doctor. He quickly explained it away, revealing that he’d applied for a job at the local surgery – a job for which he’d been accepted. However, he snuck off again soon after, making another furtive phone call in the café. “I’ve told dad about the job,” he told whoever was on the other end of the line. “So if he calls, don’t answer. It’s the least we can do, don’t you think? Protect him from what’s really going on.” But what is really going on? And who was Anthony on the phone to? Paul Trueman A popular fan theory has arisen in recent months, suggesting that Anthony’s brother, Paul Trueman, is alive. Paul left Walford in 2004, escorted off the Square by an assassin after making an enemy of local drug lord Andy Hunter. Sam Mitchell Sam Mitchell is returning to EastEnders later this tear, it has been reported. Fans have been searching for clues to Sam’s comeback ever since the news broke, with many wondering if she’s the one tormenting Zoe Slater. As last night’s episode aired, another theory emerged. Is Anthony working with Sam? “Could Sam Mitchell be on the other end of the phone? Could he be in a relationship with her? Or working with her with bring down Zoe in some way?
