Star James Farrar, who plays Zack on the soap, has sparked speculation by revealing that his character will be at ‘the center of the drama with the Slaters.’ This served as confirmation to many that Zack and Zoe could ultimately get romantic. Zack’s been at a loose end recently (Credit: BBC) James Farrar teases ‘Slater drama’ as he returns to The Vic In a TikTok for Inside Soap, James said: “It’s nice to be in the center of the drama with the Slaters.” Referring to Zoe’s animosity with Sharon’s family, he continued: “Obviously, Zoe Slater doesn’t get on with my family too well, but it’s nice. I started the show in The Vic kitchen and now I’m back there. I was with the Carters before and now I’m with the Slaters.” With Zack single since Whitney broke up with him (other than that thing with Lauren), he’s very much a free agent. And, having lost his job with the closure of Walford East (thanks to Ravi’s tax problems), it seems as though his future may very well be with the Slaters indeed.
