Callum is rocked to see his husband and struggles to cope with the guilt over his affair with Johnny. Will Cal confess his infidelity to Ben? Callum’s secret is outed (Credit: BBC) Kathy has rumbled Callum’s secret in EastEnders spoilers It’s the day of Jonno’s funeral and emotions are running high for Callum. Kathy is sympathetic towards her son-in-law and knows what a difficult relationship he had with his late father. So she rallies the rest of the Mitchell family round to support Callum. Meanwhile, Callum is keen not to avoid any suspicion about him and Johnny. He asks his secret lover to stay away from the funeral and they share a tender kiss. But Callum and Johnny’s secret is rumbled when Kathy witnesses their clinch. Kathy’s had her suspicions for a while and seeing the pair kissing confirms it. Raging over the betrayal, she outs Callum’s secret to the rest of the family! Callum tells Phil some home truths (Credit: BBC) Soon, Callum finds himself confronted by a gang of angry Mitchells. Phil, Kathy, Billy, Honey, Ian and Harvey all give him grief over his affair. But while the Callum of old might have taken it, this new confident Callum hits back and issues some harsh home truths. Afterwards, Callum goes to see Johnny. He pledges his commitment to him and asks him to join him at the funeral. He also was estranged from their father, but has been persuaded by Callum to attend. Meanwhile, Kathy and the rest of the Mitchells all agree they’ll keep the truth about Callum’s cheating from Ben. But there’s a condition to that agreement – Callum must tell Ben and Lexi himself, after the funeral. Handcuffed Ben arrives at the funeral (Credit: BBC) Feeling backed into a corner, Callum agrees he will own up. But then he gets the shock of his life when Ben suddenly rocks up at the funeral. He’s cuffed, and accompanied by police officers. But has Ben travelled all the way from his prison in America? Surely not! Ben is more composed, as he supports his husband by Jonno’s graveside, while Johnny and Stuart work hard to keep the truth hidden. Ballum lock lips (Credit: BBC) After Jonno’s coffin is lowered into the ground, Callum and Ben get a moment to themselves. Ballum fans will be delighted to see their boys locking lips. But is Callum’s mind is clearly still with Johnny, who watches on. Ben is reunited with Kathy and Phil (Credit: BBC) As everyone returns to Walford, Phil and Kathy are delighted to see their son. Ben explains he’s been transferred to a UK prison after turning informant on his cellmate. He also reveals he was granted release for the day of the funeral. His mum and dad listen on, but are distracted by Callum’s secret. In The Vic, Johnny corners Callum and begs him to keep quiet about their relationship, However, he insists he’s got to tell Ben – today. Will Callum come clean? And if he does, what does this mean for the future of his marriage? Are Ballum finished?
