But it’s far from a happy family reunion as Jonno exposes his true nature, then suffers a heart attack. Callum arrests Jonno for abusing Eve (Credit: BBC) Callum arrests his own father in EastEnders spoilers Eve’s week gets off to an unpleasant start when she falls victim to a verbal and physical homophobic attack. Callum comes to her aid, but is horrified to find his own father, Jonno is the culprit. It’s been six years since the pair last came face-to-face. Viewers will recall Jonno cruelly rejected Callum for being gay and bullied him over his relationship with Ben. Phil was forced to intervene and let his fists do the talking. He ordered Jonno out of town, and he’s not been seen since. Until now. Forced to do his job, Callum places Jonno under arrest, as he protests his innocence and blames his mate. Jonno is still a nasty bully (Credit: BBC) As Callum questions whether Jonno is being honest, Eve is adamant he’s got the right man. Suki then arrives on the scene and shows her support to Eve. The estranged couple start to warm towards one another again after weeks of living apart. Johnny wants to help Callum (Credit: BBC) Johnny gets involved After hearing about Jonno’s arrest, Callum’s secret squeeze Johnny decides he wants to help. Going against grandmother Elaine’s advice, he pays Jonno a visit and offers him legal advice. But that’s all a front. Johnny’s real motive is to try and gauge whether Jonno genuinely wants a relationship with Callum. Feeling uncomfortable with the line of questioning, Jonno is reluctant to give anything away. But when Johnny reveals he’s a Carter, the pair head off to The Vic for a drink together. Callum is grateful for Johnny’s help (Credit: BBC) Later, Callum is touched and grateful when Johnny reveals Jonno wants to see him. But how will their meeting go? Callum’s meeting with Jonno ends in tragedy (Credit: BBC) Jonno suffers a heart attack in EastEnders spoilers Callum meets with Jonno at the flat, and Johnny is there for moral support. Things get off to a promising start, but suddenly the mood switches when Callum realises Jonno is looking for money. When Callum refuses to help, Jonno’s true colours are revealed as he launches a tirade of abuse towards his offspring. Callum’s heard quite enough and orders Jonno to leave. But then Jonno suddenly collapses to the ground and suffers a heart attack. What happens next remains to be seen, but we do know that Jonno will meet his maker. His death sets up the return of Callum’s incarcerated husband Ben. But as Callum and Johnny continue to grow closer, will Ben discover their betrayal?
