He sneaks into his enemy’s home to plant the gun inside, but Jack’s plan is thwarted when Priya suddenly arrives back. Will she catch him red-handed? The terrifying events unfolded after Oscar Branning discovered the gun Ravi had instructed Harry to dispose of. Ravi broke into Number 27 to retrieve the firearm, but Denise saw him sneaking out of the house. She told Jack, who knew at once why Ravi was there. A violent tussle ensued between the foes, which resulted in a shot being fired. Many of Walford’s residents were inside The Vic celebrating Patrick and Yolande’s wedding when they learnt someone’s life had been left hanging in the balance. His twitchy behaviour doesn’t go unnoticed by Denise, who suspects Jack is hiding something. Denise picks up on this and has some questions of her own for her other half. Later, Ravi is hauled down the police station for questioning and hatches a plan to save his own skin. He tells the officers he was with Jack when the shooting occurred, making him his alibi. Jack is forced to go along with it and makes out he was trying to recruit Ravi as an informant. Will his co-workers see through his lies? They arrange to meet later, but Jack fails to show after DS Spencer arrives o speak to him. Next day, Ravi is raging as he confronts Jack in the Square, wanting to know why he bailed on their rendezvous. Jack insists he’ll be getting rid of the gun today and orders Ravi to leave Walford so he can act as a decoy for the police. However, it transpires Jack has an agenda of his own.
