Stacey thinks Joel is out to get her in EastEnders spoilers

Stacey’s been to hell and back since Martin’s tragic passing. Next week she has reason to smile again when she hears Lily and baby Charli are coming home. The pair have been staying with Lily’s dad Ryan Malloy, so Stacey is excited to have all her kids back under the same roof.

Unfortunately Stacey’s happy mood doesn’t last long when Jean and Freddie reveal someone has leaked her SecretCam pictures and videos online.

Viewers will recall that Stacey signed up to the site when she was going through a financial crisis. Under the username IceSkater95 she uploaded racy snaps in exchange for money. But events took a sinister turn when Stacey gained an obsessive fan. She later discovered it was Freddie’s former teacher Theo Hawthorne. He attempted to rape Stacey and is now safely behind bars.

As soon as she hears her SecretCam content is in circulation, Stacey is convinced it’s Joel’s doing. The pair had a recent run-in and Stacey is sure this is Joel’s way of getting back at her. But can she prove it?

Stacey reports Joel to the police

Finding Joel in the cafe, Stacey furiously accuses him of leaking her explicit images. Their row spills out into the street before Ross intervenes and rushes Joel home.

Back at Number 43, Ross demands answers from his son. He knows this wouldn’t be the first time Joel has shared misogynistic content and fears history is repeating itself. At his dad’s request, Joel hands over his laptop. He then manages to convince Ross that he’s not to blame for what happened with Stacey.

However, Stacey is still sure scumbag Joel committed the crime. Refusing to be a victim, she reports Joel to the police. But will the Old Bill bring him in for questioning? And can he make them believe he’s got nothing to do with it?
