Oscar has brought chaos to Walford in EastEnders spoilers

Oscar Branning‘s only been in the Square five minutes, but is already outstaying his welcome.

The cocky teen has been kipping at Lauren and Peter’s house since his release from youth offenders. Oscar served three months as punishment for joyriding a motor, and is now effectively homeless after mum Tanya kicked him out.

Lauren has agreed to let her sibling stay on the condition he behaves. But wherever Oscar goes trouble follows. And that trouble was a visit from Fat Mike – the guy who Oscar grassed up to the police. He arrived at the house while Oscar was babysitting Louie and baby Jimmy and left behind a sinister threat, which means the whole family are now in danger.

Peter gets attacked by Oscar

As the week begins, Lauren is horrified to discover about Mike’s little visit. She can see how scared Oscar is and insists he let Jack know what’s going on. But Oscar doesn’t want his uncle having to protect him, and insists he can handle the situation by himself.

Everything seems to be under control until Mike and his equally unpleasant mate Harrison arrive to confront Oscar. A fight breaks out and thankfully Jack is nearby to intervene. Does the man actually go to work?

Now on his final warning at Lauren’s, Oscar is left feeling on edge. So when he sees a hooded figure in the house he goes straight in for the attack, not realising it’s actually Peter.

Understandably Peter doesn’t take well to being started on. He’s had enough of Oscar’s antics and tells him to get out of his house.

Next day, she questions her brother about what happened with Peter and Oscar opens up about his time in the youth offender’s centre. His honesty makes Lauren see things in a new light and she pleads with Peter to change his mind.

It’s not long before the couple are caught up in another row, which results in Lauren going to Jimmy’s support group without Peter.

And there’s further trouble ahead when Oscar encounters Mike again. What does Mike want from him, and will Oscar be able to meet his demand?
