Foolish Oscar could have killed Patrick (Credit: BBC) Oscar regrets hurting Patrick in EastEnders spoilers Patrick was left for dead after he interrupted a masked intruder robbing his home. That intruder was Oscar, who had broken into Patrick’s place to steal his £6k horse winnings. Oscar was planning to use the money to pay off nemesis Mike. What he was not planning on was Patrick catching him red-handed. When Patrick tried to stop Oscar from escaping he pushed him over. Patrick was knocked unconscious, and things could have been a lot worse if Howie hadn’t found him. In the aftermath of the assault, panicked Oscar attempted to flee the Square. He’s since decided to stay put and is praying Patrick doesn’t work out he was the burglar. But the guilt is proving difficult for Oscar to bear. Will he end up confessing what he did and risk going back to prison? He feels as if he’s to blame for offering to put the bet on for Patrick in the first place. Can he find a way to help?
