Nicola learned that she was pregnant last month, following a brief situationship with bouncer George. She’s kept quiet to everyone except Honey since then – being more preoccupied with Teddy’s impending murder trial and son Harry’s spiralling drug addiction. She keeps it hidden from Harry, fearing what news of Teddy’s guilty plea will do for his drug addiction. Harry is horrified, and blurts out the truth behind Okie’s death. George convinces Harry to go to the police and confess, which is when Nicola returns home. The Mitchells await news of Teddy’s verdict (Credit: BBC) Harry disappears as Teddy’s verdict is revealed Reeling from Nicola’s news, George goes to see Honey, who corroborates her story. Realising that she’s telling the truth, he and Nicola head for a drink at The Albert. Back home, a distraught Harry takes drugs. Nicola and George are horrified when they return home to find Harry gone, with only a note remaining. The next day, George and Gina launch a search for Harry. When she finds him, he admits that he killed Okie, and she convinces him to attend the trial. Harry’s there to support his dad, but there’s bad news in store for the Mitchells. Afterwards, Harry goes to take drugs at The Arches… where he accidentally overdoses. After finding Harry, Gina raises the alarm.
