Max crashes the christening in EastEnders spoilers Following a dramatic Christmas dinner at the Beales’ and the Brannings,’ the two families attempt to forge forward with their lives. As planning for Jimmy’s christening continues, Lauren and Peter worry about Max and Cindy meeting for the first time. They decide to uninvite Max due to his behaviour at Christmas, but Lauren has second thoughts when he buys Jimmy a thoughtful gift. Going against Peter’s wishes, she decides to invite Max after all. Cindy refuses to go if Max is there, but it turns out she needn’t have worried. Max soon finds himself uninvited when Jack drops another bombshell. Still, Max decides to ignore Lauren’s warning, and heads to the church anyway. As the ceremony get underway, Lauren and Peter are horrified to see Max come sauntering through the door.
