Lauren, Jack and Ian have been successful in keeping Max and Ian apart thus far… but all hell breaks loose when the pair are finally in the same room together. Lauren and Peter disinvite Max due to his behaviour at Christmas but… well, you know Max. Disobeying his family, he decides to attend the event anyway. And, with Cindy still holding a grudge against Max for killing her son, Steven, neither party is about to back down anytime soon. Read our EastEnders spoilers for this story in full below. Lauren and Peter put all of their efforts into Jimmy’s christening, but are nervous at the thought of Max and Cindy crossing paths for the first time. Article continues below Read all the latest spoilers Together, they decide to uninvite Max due to his behaviour at Christmas. However, when she sees Max, Lauren soon has second thoughts. Seeing how upset he is – combined with the thoughtful gift he’s bought for Jimmy – she decides to go against Peter’s wishes and re-invite Max. Cindy faces off with Max at the church (Credit: BBC) Max and Cindy come face-to-face as he crashes the christening Cindy isn’t happy to hear that Max will be at the christening, and refuses to go if he’s there. As it turns out, Max has gotten himself uninvited anyway, after Jack drops another bombshell about his behaviour. The coast clear, the families head to the church to celebrate Jimmy’s christening. But disaster strikes when Max decides to ignore Lauren’s warning and attend the event. At the church, the congregation reel in shock as Max walks through the doors. And, as he finally meets Cindy for the first time, the pair waste little time in dragging Jimmy’s christening down to their level. Can the day be saved?
