Toxic teenager Joel has been out of control for some time now, inspired by his love of vile influencer Drake Zagan. Even after essentially getting expelled from Australia and in debt with Sharon, his behaviour has shown no sign of relenting. In recent months, he’s groped a girl on the tube, made a non-consensual sex video with Avani, and threatened Vicki. With Ross and Vicki increasingly incapable of policing Joel’s behaviour, it was only a matter of time before his actions worsened again. And, following the wedding of his estranged mother – not to mention another argument with Vicki – Joel’s at breaking point. This boils over during an incident at school, which leaves the parents and teenagers shell-shocked. As the parents attempt to take Joel and Tommy in hand, a heated debate rages on. As they attempt to come to terms with what has happened, talk turns to the impact of harmful online content. Difficult conversations are swapped between all generations as matters of age and gender come to the fore.
