All alone in The Vic, Nigel struggles to tell the difference from past and present, and begins imagining conversations with former residents of the Square. This includes the late Barry and Pat Evans, with whom he is reunited in his mind’s eye. Meanwhile, as Phil and Julie search for missing Nigel, Phil comes to a heartbreaking realisation about his friend’s future. Tracking Nigel down to The Vic, Phil sits down for a heart-to-heart… and prepares to break the news that they need more help with his care. How will Nigel take the news?
