9 EastEnders spoilers for next week: Sam Mitchell faces a cancer scare as she returns to Walford, Harry suffers another devastating overdose, and Teddy stands trial

Sam Mitchell returns to Walford in EastEnders spoilers for next week, and immediately clashes with Phil when she steals money from his safe. As Phil, Jack and the family react to news of Sam’s return, they’re shocked when she admits her fear that she might have cancer.

Jack and Denise try to get Sam to seek help, but she continues to bury her head in the sand. Can they convince Sam to see a doctor about her fears?

Elsewhere, as Teddy stands trial for Okie’s murder, Harry continues to struggle with his addiction. Nicola manages to convince him not to come clean to the police about killing Okie, but matters worsen when he accidentally overdoses.

1. Sam returns to Walford in EastEnders spoilers

Sam Mitchell returns to Walford, and heads straight to Phil’s place – where she tries to steal money from his safe. Mistaking her for Clare, Nigel lets her take the cash.

Out on the Square, Zoe spots Sam, and accuses her of being responsible for her stalking, although Sam denies having anything to do with Zoe’s torment.

Meanwhile, realising that the money has gone missing, Phil assumes that Nicola was responsible when he hears Nigel’s description. However, he soon realises that Sam was behind the theft when he catches her in a tense conversation with Kat.

Giving Phil the slip, Sam heads to McClunky’s to meet with Ricky Jr. However, she’s caught by Jack, who is shocked when she admits that she’s found a lump… and believes it’s cancer.

2. Concerns for Sam grow as she admits breast cancer fears

Jack questions Sam over her health concerns, and is dismayed to hear that she hasn’t seen a doctor. After Phil interrupts to demand his money back, Denise goes to see Sam, hoping to convince her to see sense.

She and Denise agree upon a deal, but she soon realises that Jack and Denise are bluffing when she attends a family meal with Ricky Jr. and Lily. Afterwards, Sam goes to see Phil, where she begs for a place to stay.

As an alternative plan arises, Jack and Denise are appalled to hear that Sam has skipped her doctor’s appointment. Together, the family confront Sam, while Julie, Phil and Ricky Jr. admonish Sam for her actions.

3. Harry reveals the truth as his drug addiction intensifies

Nicola worries about Harry when he asks her for money for drugs. She refuses, deciding to keep the details of Teddy’s trial a secret so as to avoid upsetting him further.

Later, when George checks in on Harry, he accidentally reveals that Teddy is pleading guilty. Horrified, Harry admits that he killed Okie.

4. Nicola tells George she’s pregnant

Nicola arrives home to find that George has convinced Harry to hand himself into the police. Desperate to stop him from confessing, she tells George that she’s pregnant with his child.

Shocked, George gets confirmation from Honey, who backs up Nicola’s claims. Later, he and Nicola go for a drink at The Albert, while Harry takes drugs at home.

When they arrive home, they find only a note from Harry, revealing he’s gone missing.

5. Harry ‘s life hangs in the balance as Teddy stands trial

It’s the day of Teddy’s trial, and Gina and George are desperate to find Harry. Meanwhile, Harry tells Gina the truth about Okie,  and they decide to go to the court to support Teddy.

At the court, the Mitchells are horrified to hear Teddy’s verdict. Meanwhile, Gina sounds the alarm when Harry accidentally overdoses on drugs.

As Jack jumps into action, Gina and George find Nicola… who takes matters into her own hands to save Harry, while they wait for the paramedics to arrive.

6. Zack and Nicola butt heads over Barney’s future in EastEnders spoilers

When Barney decides to move in with Zack, he and Nicola clash over their son’s future.

7. Kat warns Anthony off in EastEnders spoilers

After learning the truth about Anthony’s marriage breakup, Kat warns Anthony away from her daughter. Meanwhile, Anthony is furious at Patrick when he discovers he has spoken to his ex-wife Sophie.

Later, Zoe heads to The Vic to speak to Kat who warns her to stay away from Anthony.

8. Happy birthday Oscar

Lauren brings the family on board with plans for Oscar’s 18th birthday. At The Albert, Oscar celebrates his birthday, but he’s distracted by thoughts of Jasmine.

9. Elaine pulls some strings in EastEnders spoilers

Elaine worries after Ian questions her over planning permissions for her hotel. She later sets up Johnny, Callum and Tim up on a dinner date, to ask Tim to pull some strings with the council.
