Howie Danes proposes to Kim in EastEnders spoilers for Mon, Dec 1, amid an eventful Christmas lights switch-on in Albert Square. Caught in a compromising situation by Patrick, Howie covers for his recent theft by proposing to Kim.

She gladly accepts, although Anthony’s suspicions are aroused. Will he realise what Howie’s been up to?

Elsewhere, when Zoe’s stalker leaves another menacing threat, she becomes convinced that it was brother Tommy. But was he really responsible?

Meanwhile, Ian and Lauren act secretive, while Harry tries to score more drugs to feed his growing addiction.

1. Zoe suspects Tommy as she gets a nasty surprise in EastEnders spoilers

With Freddie and Anna’s departure from Walford imminent, things are tense between Jean and the Slaters. As Kat tries to calm down irate Zoe, Lily grows worried that Jean has been pushing herself too hard.

At the Christmas lights switch-on, Elaine makes a speech about Freddie and Anna. However, the mood is spoiled when the lights are switched on, revealing a worrying message for Zoe in the window of the Queen Vic.

Later, Zoe finds an incriminating item in Tommy’s bag, and becomes convinced that he was responsible.

2. Howie pops the question in EastEnders spoilers

Patrick catches Howie out, and assumes that he’s going to propose. After speaking to Alfie, Howie decides to ask Kim to marry him.

At the Christmas lights switch-on, he gets down on one knee and proposes to a delighted Kim. Witnessing the whole thing, Anthony’s suspicions about Howie grow.

Will he realise what Howie’s been hiding?

3. Lauren hides the truth

Peter walks in to find Peter and Lauren sharing a secret conversation. Still hiding the charity money theft and the doctor’s scam, she lies about their discussion.

Will Peter realise what’s been going on?

4. Harry steals Nicola’s credit card in EastEnders spoilers

As his need for drugs grows, Harry steals Nicola’s credit card to buy more drugs.

5. Ian clashes with Elaine

Ian is furious when he discovers that Peacock Palace is the sponsor of the Christmas lights switch-on.
