Classic Emmerdale spoilers: Cain steps up as granddad
Cain Dingle surprises everyone by stepping up as Sarah’s grandfather. Debbie returns home to find Cain with the baby and grows suspicious. He brushes off her concerns, claiming he just wants to be more involved. Debbie isn’t convinced and decides to take a night off, leaving Cain to babysit. Are Cain’s motives pure or is something else at play?
Steph’s nightmare looms
Meanwhile, the idea of Terence Turner returning sends Steph into a panic. Alan Turner confronts Adam Forsythe about being too protective of Steph. Alan believes Steph’s fear stems from keeping secrets, not Terence himself. Adam warns Alan that bringing Terence back could be disastrous. But, does he have a point here?

As Cain continues to spend time with Sarah, Debbie feels more distant from her daughter. Emily Kirk confesses to Paul Lambert that she feels guilty.
