Edna’s beloved dog, Tootsie, is badly injured in Classic Emmerdale episodes airing on ITV3 on Friday May 2. Hari sees poor Tootsie’s ordeal as an opportunity to make a fast buck, but will the pooch be okay?

Meanwhile, Perdy’s annoyed with Grayson, and Jo and Andy find common ground.

Katie’s on the warpath

Katie demands that Jo leaves Butler’s Farm even though Andy is worried about her relationship with her mum. Jo starts to pack her bags, but Jackie’s nasty comments soon get her riled up and another furious row erupts.

Katie witnesses the whole thing and shocked, she orders Jackie to leave instead.

Tootsie’s in trouble in Classic Emmerdale

Zak’s horrified to find Tootsie stuck in one of his traps. He frees the mutt and rushes to the vet’s, where Edna’s upset to find out the extent of her beloved pet’s injuries.

Hari and Paddy are conflicted in what to do to help Tootsie – with money being the biggest issue.

Perdy’s fed up in Classic Emmerdale

Elsewhere, Perdy finds a matchbox from the casino in Grayson’s pocket and realises he’s been lying to her.

After she confronts him, he admits he went to the casino with the Kings’ accountant. Perdy’s not convinced he’s telling her the truth but when he challenges her to call the accountant and check, she backs down – much to Grayson’s relief!

Later, Hari spins more lies about Tootsie’s condition in order to get more money out of Edna. Louise is shocked when Edna tells her Hari cared for her dog all night knowing he’d spent the night with her.

When Paddy suggests they reduce Edna’s bill, Hari’s angry. He urges Louise to back him up. Will she do as he asks?

Jo and Andy get closer again

Meanwhile, Andy is sympathetic to Jo after the row with her mum. The pair share a heart-to-heart about their relationship with their parents.

Grayson turns on the charm in Classic Emmerdale

Elsewhere, Perdy’s frustrated by Grayson’s lack of attention. When she finds a strange message on his phone from ‘Lady Luck,’ she grabs a bottle of wine and heads off to drown her sorrows with Matthew.

Grayson’s appalled to find them together and tries to reassure Perdy that he really does love her. But Perdy’s convinced he doesn’t want her – he only wants a baby.

Plus, a chance conversation in the cafe leads to Zak asking Jasmine to tutor Belle.

Emmerdale usually airs weeknights on ITV at 7.30pm, with an early release on ITVX at 7am.

Classic Emmerdale usually airs every weekday on ITV3 at 6am and 6.30am, plus 1.40pm and 2.10pm.
