Billy and Dawn to get back together following Joe Tate whodunnit, Emmerdale fan theory predicts
Perhaps they aren’t fully over yet
They may have just broken up, but Emmerdale fans think Billy and Dawn might already be headed for a reunion.
When Joe Tate arrived back in the village, it wasn’t long before he and Dawn began an affair. And months later, Dawn finally left Billy – but failed to mention that she was seeing anyone else.
With spoilers revealing that Joe Tate will face his comeuppance next week in a huge whodunnit storyline, a new fan theory predicts Billy and Dawn will be back together in no time.
What happened in Emmerdale between Billy and Dawn
Fans began to grow bored of Billy and Dawn’s repetitive relationship. But when Joe entered the mix, it was obvious that he and Dawn would get together.
Even though they have three kids, one of which has been in and out of hospital his whole life, both Billy and Dawn weren’t exactly happy in their marriage.
While Dawn had a full affair with Joe, Billy also was subscribed to Manpreet’s online profile.
Dawn finally spoke to her husband about how she was unhappy and made the decision to end their marriage. But when Billy asked if there was anyone else, she lied to him.
In last night’s episode (May 1) Dawn ran off on Joe as she heard Billy had to bring Evan to hospital. And many don’t believe that’s them completely done.
Billy and Dawn to get back together after Joe whodunnit?
Taking to X, one fan wrote: “I somehow don’t think that Dawn and Billy are 100% done! I think they WILL find a way back to each other.”
Another added: “I see Dawn and Billy getting back together after Joe is attacked. Maybe they’ll need to rely on each other more…”
Next week, Lydia’s Home Farm birthday party will take a turn as someone attacks Joe. What exactly happens to him remains under-wraps, but it’s safe to say that there are a lot of people who want revenge.
Both Billy and Dawn are on that Emmerdale suspect list – as is their daughter, Clemmie, so perhaps the attack will bring them back together as a family.
If anyone suspects that Clemmie attacked Joe, then they are going to need to pull together for the sake of their daughter. But if one of them are the culprit’s then things could get a bit awkward.
While it remains to be seen if Billy and Dawn will ever get back together, not every viewer wants that.
Writing on X, one wrote: “Joe and Dawn finally feel real. And she has more chemistry with him than she did with Billy.”
It certainly seems like Billy and Dawn will have a lot of drama coming up, but will they reunite?
