Emmerdale has once again updated their ITVX poster for the month ahead. And now there is increased speculation regarding what’s going to happen with Sarah.
Last month, ITVX changed their poster to a very ominous looking John. And then not long after, his secret life was revealed. So when it changed this month to a specific moment for Sarah, fans immediately wondered if something more was coming.
At the moment, Sarah has been having quite a few dilemma’s over what she wants her future to look like. And the Emmerdale ITVX poster may have hinted at a few possibilities – which can be seen on this reddit thread.
Emmerdale ITVX changed
The brand new ITVX poster now shows Sarah looking upset and worried, while standing in a hospital waiting room. And as the only person in the picture, it’s clear the story centres around her.
But fans are stuck on what actually is going on. And there are two huge theories based on her current storyline.
For the last few months, Sarah has been heartbroken by Jacob breaking up with her, and then she began dating new boy Kammy. But recently, they called it quits, too.
But their break-up made Sarah realise that she doesn’t want a boyfriend, she wants a baby instead. Something which is extremely difficult and potentially dangerous with her illness.
And this leads into the two theories.
1. Sarah heading for IVF storyline
One main theory is that Sarah will go down the route of IVF, knowing all of the risks.
Ever since she had the false positive pregnancy test, Sarah has wanted a baby. And now she’s taking steps to find out all of the details.
But with her life-limiting illness, things aren’t exactly easy for her. However, as she has been opening up to Vanessa more and more about her wants, it seems Sarah is willing to spend and do whatever she can to learn more.
Taking to the reddit thread discussing the new poster, one fan said: “Since she wants to be a mum she might be getting tests to see if she can? Or maybe looking into options?”
If Sarah finds a doctor willing to help her with her IVF journey, will she go through with it? And will she continue to keep it a secret from the Dingles? We can’t imagine they would be too supportive.
2. Sarah dies
For ages, there have been fears that Sarah is in the fresh grave that Cain is crying at. And while there is no confirmation or denial, it still seems like a plausible theory.
This year, Sarah has had quite an increase of screen-time and storylines. While fans are enjoying seeing Katie Hill shine as an actor, many are concerned this means we’re about to lose her.
Even though many think Nate is going to be in the fresh grave, some can’t stop thinking it will be Sarah.
Taking to the same Reddit thread, another fan proposed: “I hope the writers don’t hate Cain enough to do this. But what if Nate is a red herring and it’s Sarah’s grave he is at. It looks like it might be an upsetting storyline…”
We hope this isn’t the end of Sarah!
