After holding him at gunpoint, Moira was forced to back down after Dawn arrived and made a startling revelation. However, by the end of the week Moira’s plan is on, with a surprising ally. Moira meant business (Credit: ITV) Moira turned a gun on Joe in Emmerdale As Tuesday’s episode (April 28) began, Cain was still angry at everyone and he lashed out at Moira again. She was trying to tell him about Robert’s betrayal, but decided against it, not wanting to stress him out any more. Aaron later counselled Cain that he needed to sort things out with Moira and Cain realised he was right. But Moira was preoccupied with a shotgun and Joe Tate. With the Tates not having learned to lock their doors by now, Moria let herself in and confronted Joe. article continues below Read all the latest spoilers Graham returned home and tried to stop her, but he couldn’t make any sudden movements because Moira meant business. She finally revealed she knew what he had done. Joe tried to pretend he knew nothing about it and it was all Robert. But Moira knew better. Dawn produced her pregnancy test to stop Moira (Credit: ITV) Dawn to the rescue Dawn then returned and desperately revealed she was pregnant, showing the test to prove it. She begged Moira not to kill her baby’s father. Graham agreed if Moira walked away they wouldn’t get the police involved. Moira did so, but she promised: “There will come a time when I’m going to think long and hard about how I’m going to make your life a living hell. Or a non-living one.”Don't miss a single story! Back at home, Cain and Moira finally talked, but things got worse when they started kissing and Cain stormed out. Meanwhile at Home Farm, Joe was thrilled about the pregnancy and waxed lyrical about how he would make Moira pay for waving a gun in his face. But Dawn had questions, Joe batted her off and played it all down, insisting Robert was the one to blame for it all. Moira can’t help but make a barbed comment about Joe and it throws Dawn. Already struggling to believe he’s entirely innocent, Dawn turns up at Wishing Well and asks Moira what’s going on. Moira reveals the truth about Joe setting her up. Stunned Dawn asks Moira to tell her everything she knows. Next week, spoilers reveal Dawn is really struggling to be around Joe. He is like a kid in a sweet shop over the baby and has told everyone their happy news. But Dawn just can’t find the same enthusiasm. She is clearly troubled and heads over to find Moira. Dawn tells her she can’t stay with Joe because she hates him so much now she knows what he really is. She can’t hide her true feelings much longer. But Moira tells her she must stay for the money. She urges Dawn to stick it out so she has the funds to fight for custody in court. They have a plan in place and it’s clear they are at last going to make Joe Tate pay. So who will come out on top? Also in Emmerdale tonight... Emmerdale tonight wasn't all Moira and Cain drama. Paddy and Mandy were also arguing and Charity's return from the hospital raised concerns. Mandy's suggestion angered Paddy Paddy was trying to draw a giraffe for Eve and he started reminiscing over a memory from years ago. He was laughing, but almost crying over it. Mandy was upset, knowing how much the impending trial could change their lives. Not okay with losing her husband she impulsively suggested they let Bear take all of the blame. She insisted it was what he had wanted to do anyway and Paddy could change his statement saying he had lied to protect his dad. Paddy was horrified and stormed off. Mandy later went to find him and tried to explain how scared she was. Paddy understood where she was coming from, but insisted he would not let his dad take the blame. After they made up, Paddy said he didn't want Mandy to put her life on hold if he went down. But she told him no one would break them apart and she would wait for him as long as it took. Ross starting to crack in Emmerdale tonight As Sarah and Jacob spent some time together, Ross arrived with a gift from Moses. He was then invited to the family gathering later to welcome Charity home from hospital. Awkward, Ross had no choice but to agree and turned up with Moses. Charity warned him off, but he later cornered her outside and couldn't help saying how beautiful their baby was. Charity told him not to make comments like that and Ross promised that was it. He was then invited to be part of a family photo, but insisted he wasn't Leyla's family. The tinge of sadness in his voice made it very clear this is taking its toll on him.
