Viv’s furious – again!
Viv is fuming, having learned from Bob that he confessed to Tom’s murder to protect Jamie. She finds it difficult to hide her emotions from her stepson and Jamie’s confused by her change in behaviour.
Eventually Viv snaps and demands that Jamie tells the truth about the murder. But he furiously protests his innocence. Is he telling the truth?
Classic Emmerdale: David’s making plans
Elsewhere, David confides in Del that he wants Eric to trust him and he is thinking about going into business with him. Del is cautious and voices her concerns.
When David tells Val how keen he is for Eric to trust him, she’s relieved when he suggests a paternity test.
Jo’s opening up in Classic Emmerdale
Meanwhile, Andy tries to encourage Jo to open up about her past. She is reluctant at first, but over drinks she gets more talkative. She reveals that she hasn’t spoken to her mum since she was 14.

Have the police got their man?
The investigation into Tom’s murder steps up when the police come to the house to remove more evidence.
And a broken Jamie heads to the police station ready to change his statement, because he’s sure his dad isn’t guilty of the killing.
But when Barraclough reveals what Jamie’s done, Bob’s horrified. He realises that the police think his son is the murderer. But are they right?

Eric’s scheming in Classic Emmerdale
Meanwhile, Eric’s worried David’s going to find out the truth from the official DNA test and he’s determined to intercept the results. Attempting to cover all bases, he starts to lay the groundwork with David, telling him whatever happens, he’s grown fond of him.
Gold digger!
Kelly’s on a mission to fleece Jimmy so she spins him a sob story about her failed spa. Jimmy is worried she only wants him for his money, so she feigns being hurt by his accusations. Soon Mr King is eating out of her money-grabbing hands once more!
Emmerdale usually airs weeknights on ITV at 7.30pm, with an early release on ITVX at 7am.
