It’s not looking good for Cain and there are three potential drivers who could have done this. So will they step up and help Cain? Or is this really the end of him? Cain was feeling positive for the first time in forever (Credit: ITV) Cain waits for his operation The action tonight (Tuesday April 7) saw Cain waiting for his operation. Everyone was fussing round him and checking up on how he was doing. Starving was what he replied! He was also focused on trying to cheer Kyle up. Sarah eventually succeeded when she brought round his car that she’d got moving. He was thrilled, but Cain warned him it wasn’t legal to drive yet. As he prepared to leave for his operation, Cain went for a walk as he spoke to Moira on the phone. Dr Todd was furious with Jacob (Credit: ITV) Jacob argues with Todd in Emmerdale tonight Meawhile, at the hospital Dr Todd‘s dad went into cardiac arrest and Jacob started CPR. Rich pointed out he was DNR, but Jacob knew Todd would blame him if her dad died while he was on shift and he didn’t do anything. Rich refused to be a part of it. When Jacob successfully saved him, Dr Todd laid into him. She told him he’d made a dreadful error.Don't miss a single story! Todd even accused Jacob of assaulting her father. Jacob snapped back and Todd sent him home, shouting that he was useless, he would never complete his training and he’d never be a doctor. Kim then tried to make him feel better about Rhona, but the way she went about only served to make him feel worse. Later in the cafe, Marlon and Paddy were talking about man club and Graham came in. Marlon apologised to him for all the “unpleasantness” saying it was because he felt threatened. He said he had been “ridiculous” about it and Graham thought he was calling him ridiculous. He was fuming and stormed off straight to his car. Kerry has told Pollard she wants a divorce (Credit: ITV) Kerry to divorce Pollard Pollard and Kerry were still rowing over Jai. Pollard told her to pack her bags and go. She confided in Jai who told her she could move in with him. Meanwhile Caleb advised Pollard how much Kerry had done for him and devoted so much time to him. Realising he’d been a fool, Pollard resolved to make it right. When Kerry returned to the shop later Pollard admitted to being a “stupid old fool” and said that he was “deeply, deeply sorry”. Kerry stopped him in his tracks by announcing she was moving out and they needed to get a divorce. Eric begged her to stay and told her he loved her as a person and a friend. Kerry said he didn’t trust her and so they needed to get this sorted. She left as he sobbed. Who has knocked Cain over? (Credit: ITV) Cain hit by a car and could die in Emmerdale After Jacob, Graham and Kerry had their respective showdowns, they all got in their cars in slow motion. It was clear none of them were in a fit state to drive. Meanwhile Cain was walking in the road telling Moira he loved her when one of the cars came speeding round the corner and knocked him clean over. He was left lying unconscious as Moira shouted at the other end of the line: “Cain? Cain?” Fortunately Cain is okay next week (Credit: ITV) Does Cain die in Emmerdale? Tomorrow night Kyle will find his dad lifeless in the road. Moira is still on the other end of the line, frantically trying to find out what is going on. Kyle has to get help and get Cain to hospital, but will he pull through? The good news is Cain is involved in newly released spoilers for next week, so we know this accident won’t kill him. He is seen calling Moira and begging her not to plead guilty after she decides it’s her best chance to get a lighter sentence and get home to Kyle and Isaac. He is still in his hospital bed, but Cain is then up and about well enough to race into court to beg Moira to fight the charges. New evidence has been found and he wants her home.
