Robert is determined to make sure Joe has no power over him any more. But when he involves Dawn, it could mean the end for her and Joe. Neither Ross nor Robert are fans of Joe (Credit: ITV) Robert and Ross decide to bring Joe down in Emmerdale In tonight’s Emmerdale (Thursday April 9) Cain summoned Aaron to his bedside. He asked Aaron to take over as head of the family should anything happen to him. Aaron was flabbergastered, but touched and agreed to do it, promising not to let Cain down. Aaron went home and told Robert what had happened. He explained Moira had decided to plead guilty as she felt she had no chance of getting off the human trafficking charges. If she didn’t fight it, she’d get six years instead of 12 and hopefully only serve four. It means being back with her boys quicker. article continues below Read all the latest spoilers However Robert was horrified. Knowing he is massively responsible for Moira’s predicament, he rushed round to see Joe. Robert demanded they do something to save Moira. But nasty Joe simply stated that he would only protect himself. “I’m not going to throw my life away for some slapper from the wrong side of the Gorbals who is too stupid to realise she’s being done over.” Better not let Moira hear any of that, Joe, or you’re in for a Glasgow kiss! Horrified Robert turned to Ross and suggested they work together. He promised to make it worth Ross’ while.Don't miss a single story! Dawn catches Robert so he confesses in Emmerdale spoilers (Credit: ITV) Dawn gets involved as Robert works to save Moira in Emmerdale Tomorrow night (Friday April 10) Robert and Ross try to hack into Joe’s laptop. Robert wants to delete the incriminating footage Joe has of Victoria killing John so he has no leverage to blackmail Robert with. However, Dawn catches them in the act. She demands answers and, backed into a corner, Robert decides his best option is to come clean. So he does. He tells Dawn all about the video, Joe’s blackmail and how it’s put Moira in prison. Will Dawn be horrified? Or will she stand by her man? Is this the catalyst for Dawn leaving? (Credit: ITV) Drama leads to Dawn’s exit? It was reported on March 30 that Emmerdale has ‘axed’ Olivia Bromley as Dawn after eight years in the soap. A source told The Sun: “Olivia is adored by everyone at Emmerdale so the decision to axe her has not gone down well at all. “She’s a popular member of the cast and if they can get rid of Olivia then the feeling is virtually no-one is safe. “Olivia understood their decision and is preparing to film her exit in the coming months.” The news of Olivia’s exit is said to have gone down badly with other members of the cast. Olivia’s set to film her leaving scenes later this year, however the exact date of her departure is unknown, but is likely to be around the summer time. No details of her end storyline have been given either. However, given Dawn’s moral compass, it’s unlikely she’ll stand this behaviour from Joe. So could Robert’s confession lead to Dawn’s exit? Will she leave Joe brokenhearted unable to be with him after what he’s done? Read more: Who’s leaving Emmerdale?
