Fan theory predicts Anthony Fox will ‘return from dead’ to cause havoc on John and Aaron’s wedding day

He would be quite the unwelcomed guest

A new Emmerdale fan theory has predicted that Anthony Fox isn’t actually dead and will return for Aaron and John’s wedding.

John hid Anthony’s body in a mysterious place although he is yet to let on where the official hiding place is.

But, what if Anthony never actually died after all? A new theory thinks he’ll turn up alive at a very unfortunate time for John…

Anthony Fox’s death in Emmerdale

Viewers of Emmerdale will know that Anthony was killed by Ruby Miligan several months ago, although it was initially made out that Aaron had killed him.

John thought so too and helped Aaron hide the body before realising that Ruby was the one to come back and suffocate him.

The Anthony ‘murder club’ all met up and ended up being let in on Anthony’s resting place secret – under a log in the woods.

But, after some (literal) digging, Steph realised that there wasn’t a body under the log in the woods after all.

John then confessed that it was too risky to tell them where Anthony’s body really was…

Emmerdale fan theory predicts huge Anthony Fox ‘return’

Despite being made out to be dead, we never actually saw John bury Anthony or dispose of his body anywhere…

This has led some fans to believe that Anthony might actually still be alive, whether John knows it or not.

And one fan thinks that this secret will out itself on John and Aaron’s wedding day… How unfortunate for John…

When asked on Reddit what their predictions on for John and Aaron’s upcoming wedding day, one Emmerdale fan said: “Anthony pitches up. Very Much Alive.”

But, is Anthony alive? He looked on death’s door when we last saw him… But, is he just out there waiting for the perfect time to make a ‘ghostly’ come back?
