Emmerdale fan theory predicts Jamie Tate and Tina Dingle to return during Vinny and Gabby’s wedding

As Gabby and Vinny Dingle prepare for their wedding, two huge Emmerdale cast members return could ruffle some feathers, according to a new theory.

Vinny and Gabby Thomas recently surprised everyone by making the decision to get engaged. Just days before, Vinny was having doubts about ever wanting to be a dad to Thomas because of his own upbringing, so it was definitely a shock.

But the couple have quite a lot of people in their past that they would probably like to stay right there. And it seems two huge characters could be making an explosive comeback for their wedding.

Two huge Emmerdale returns for Gabby and Vinny’s wedding?

There is rarely a soap wedding that happens without something going wrong. So, why not throw two previous Emmerdale characters into the mix?

Tina Dingle left the village very hastily after the bombshell that she was Vinny’s real mum. She blackmailed Mandy and tried to scam her own family from their house. But when it all came out, she made her exit.

Immediately after she left, fans were sure that she would be returning at some stage. And her son’s wedding would be the perfect time to do so.

And then Gabby also has quite a lot of history with the Tate’s – namely Jamie. So, is now the time that he breaks no contact with Kim to stop Gabby marrying Vinny?

Perhaps Jamie hates the thought that Gabby is still highly involved in the Tate empire. Or maybe he thinks it’s time to see his son.

Fans predict fireworks at the wedding

Either way, fans are convinced the pair will be back on our screens just in time for Gabby and Vinny’s wedding.

Taking to social media, one fan commented: “I’m thinking Jamie Tate will return.”

Another added: “Jamie and/or Tina will make an appearance for Gabby and Vinny’s wedding. They’re too happy.”

A third commented: “I wonder if Vinny and Gabby’s wedding could lead to a return for Tina because her stint was so abrupt. I have grown to like them as a couple but there has to be some drama somewhere. There are so many weddings being planned in the village. Maybe Tina comes back – or Jamie Tate?”

Soap weddings usually have a fair bit of drama. And with Gabby’s connection to the Tate empire she’s sure to want a huge spectacle. So, if Jamie or Tina return, could things go bad?
