Seldom does a soap wedding run smoothly, and it seems unlikely that Aaron and John’s will be any different.

John’s life in the village so far has been littered with secrets and lies. There’s so much Aaron still doesn’t know about his fiancé, and now fans are predicting it may get dangerous for him soon…

John to hold Aaron captive, Emmerdale fans predict

Some fans are now predicting that John might even go as far as to hold Aaron captive in the coming weeks.

While many think the wedding won’t go ahead because of Aidan Moore waking up or Nate’s body being found, one fan on Reddit has an intriguing theory.

In a thread regarding predictions for Emmerdale storylines this year, a fan has suggested that “Aaron ends up being imprisoned by John.”

If Aaron is to find out the truth about John, and all that he’s capable of, could John hold him captive?

Perhaps, desperate to keep his fiance in his life, he’ll resort to such measures to keep him close?

Especially if Aidan does wake up on the day of the wedding, perhaps keeping him captive seems the only way to keep the truth from him for a bit longer…
