Every detail we know about Aidan Moore so far as Emmerdale gives major update
We definitely know more about Aidan Moore than we did yesterday. But how much is true?!
So the truth about Aidan Moore is out in Emmerdale. At least we think it is. Some of it. Well, we definitely know more than we did yesterday.
Thanks to Victoria’s efforts, we know what happened to Aidan Moore, where he is, and where John Sugden fits in to it all. Pretty much…
Anyway, we thought now would be a good time to recap every detail we know about Aidan after today’s gripping update.

Who is Aidan Moore in Emmerdale?
Aidan Moore served with John in Afghanistan. We knew that of course, but in today’s episode we found out some extra info!
John had told Victoria that he and Aidan were friends and he’d also told her – or at least very firmly implied that Aidan was dead. He explained Aidan had been badly injured and he couldn’t save him.
But in tonight’s episode, Victoria uncovered the truth.

What happened to Aidan?
She arranged to meet Connor, who was an old army buddy of John. And she was shocked when he told her that John and Aidan weren’t just friends.
In fact he revealed they had been engaged!
And that was only the first curveball! Because then Connor announced that Aidan wasn’t actually dead.

Where is Aidan now?
As Victoria saw with her own eyes when she headed to Hotten General.
To her shock, she f0und Aidan was a patient there.
And when she confronted John later, she uncovered more about the mysterious Aidan Moore.
John told Vic that he had indeed been more than friends with Aidan and he hadn’t been telling the truth when he said he’d died.
And then he threw yet another curveball!

Did John try to kill Aidan?
Of course, we know now that John likes to hurt people so he can save them and take the praise.
But we were all nodding along with his story, and thinking that he and his hero complex had no doubt tried to hurt Aidan so he could save him. And that’s when he said something that brought us up short!
He said that he should have let Aidan die.
Whaaaattt?!
Turns out, John’s valiant efforts to save his fiance were almost too good. He saved Aidan’s life, but at the cost of him actually living. So now poor Aidan’s in a persistent vegetative state and he won’t ever wake up.
And we’re wondering if this is the root cause of all John’s killer instincts.
So while we know a lot more about Mr Moore now, it’s still not really enough!
Let’s hope there’s more light to be shed on the mystery in upcoming episodes.
