Cain has surgery and Dr Todd lets slip she knows a secret

Here are three Emmerdale spoilers for Mon, May 11.
1. Cain has surgery
It’s a big day for Cain as he is going in for his operation. He and Moira are being strong for each other, but Kyle is worried sick about it. He has breakfast with the other Dingles but can’t keep his mind off his dad.
At the hospital, Cain is wheeled off for surgery and Kyle is in a panic. He is fearful his dad is going to die.
However, it soon becomes clear Cain’s op went well and as expected. But then he’s confronted with the reality of his catheter and he realises first hand the future that awaits him. Can Cain cope?
2. Dr Todd won’t let Jacob go in Emmerdale spoilers
It’s the day of Todd’s dad’s funeral. Jacob feels bad that their feud has gone so far, especially as he knows what it’s like to lose a parent.
He tells Sarah he feels guilty that things got so nasty. Despite Sarah reminding him Todd made his life a misery, Jacob wants to try and move on.
So he visits Todd with condolences over her father. He apologises for what has gone on between them. She accepts and he hopes they have made peace and can move on now.
Soon Todd’s attention is distracted when Vanessa, encouraged by Mary, asks her out. The doctor accepts and they set up a date for the next day.
Jacob thinks things are finally settling down and they can get on with their separate lives. However, Todd then jabs the knife in suggesting she knows a secret that would make his life even more miserable. It leaves Jacob stunned – and right back at square one with her.
3. Bear wins at the depot, but it triggers him
Bear and Mandy are now a part of the depot workforce and boss Jai presents them all with a productivity chart. He’s set up a competition for the workers.
Bear wins it and Jai is full of praise for his new employee. However, Jai’s words inadvertently trigger a flashback for Bear to Ray and his time at the farm. Is it too soon for Bear to be back at work?
