Despite her killer past, fans are Team Ella as she’s accused of Chas drugging in Emmerdale

Fans of Emmerdale have picked their side in the mounting campaign against Ella Forster, accusing her of tampering with Chas’ pain medication. Ella admitted to stealing her engagement ring, but remains firm in her denial of ‘drugging’ Chas.
Chas took a tumble on Wednesday (March 19), banging her head as she fell in the Woolpack. After first aid from John, paramedics rushed her to hospital, where doctors determined that she’d taken an overdose.
But had someone messed with her medication?
Liam accused Ella of drugging Chas on Emmerdale this week
Chas was insistent that she’d stuck to the prescribed amount of meds, leaving Liam suspicious that foul play might be afoot. He was quick to accuse Ella, who Victoria pointed out had been rooting around in the back of the Woolpack the day before.
And with both Mandy and Manpreet believing Liam’s accusations, it seems Ella is well on her way to becoming the village outcast. As the police arrested Ella for Chas’ fall, Manpreet informed her that they’d fired her from her job at the surgery.
With the evidence damning, Ella’s quickly becoming a village outcast.
Fans pick their sides as the village turns on Ella
Writing on social media as the episode aired, fans shared their thoughts on Ella’s situation. And many were quick to take her side.
“I felt so sorry for ella in this episode. I hope she not guilty. But think she going cut all bridges and have explosive revenge. I think chas is behaving awfully. Liam I know he lost a child but he has always treated ella appallingly. And mandy chas maybe a relation but try some loyalty to friend,” wrote one fan.
“You Ella, deserve much better than, this village of vipers,” said another.
“I feel sorry for Ella after the accusations against her in tonight’s episode. It was definitely John who spiked Chas. I believe Ella that it wasn’t her,” a third said.
“Team Ella on this one Chas has been needing karma for a long time,” a fourth said.
“Team Ella – hate Chas and Liam,” agreed another.
