Strictly Come Dancing's current leaderboard and the dances and songs for Week 8
It's another week of bangers in the ballroomStrictly Come Dancing 2025 is over halfway through and the celebrities are busy practicing their next dances and songs, desperate to move up the leaderboard.
The remaining stars will return to the ballroom this weekend for their Week 8 performances – but who will impress the judges?
There are now eight couples left in the show, with them all hoping to get their hands on the Glitterball Trophy. Here’s where they sit in the current Strictly leaderboard, plus all the next dances and songs for this Saturdays show.

Strictly Come Dancing: Next dances and songs
This weekend Strictly Come Dancing’s doesn’t have a theme. Icons Week and Halloween Week are firmly in the past! And here are all the dances and songs.
Karen Carney and Carlos Gu will be returning to the dance floor to perform an American Smooth. Their song is You Don’t Know Me by Saygrace. George Clarke and Katya Jones are doing a Rumba. They will be performing their routine to Lily Allen’s version of Somewhere Only We Know.
Amber Davies and Nikita Kuzmin will be performing a Paso Doble to Dream On by Aerosmith. Lewis Cope and Katya Jones will be doing a Tango on Saturday night. Their song is 12 To 12 by Sombr.
La Voix and Aljaz Škorjanec are doing a Couple’s Choice. Their song is Don’t Rain On My Parade by Barbara Streisand. Alex Kingston and Johannes Radebe are dancing a Waltz. Their track is Barry Manilow’s Weekend In New England. Balvinder Sopal and Julian Caillon will be doing an American Smooth to My Guy. The song is by Mary Wells.
Finally, Vicky Pattison and Kai Widdrington are dancing to Girls Aloud’s iconic hit, Sound of the Underground. Their dance is a Jive.
Current leaderboard
Vicky and Kai finished last weekend’s shows at the top of the leaderboard. They scored an impressive 39 from the judges for their Tango. Even Craig Revel Horwood gave them a 10!
Amber and Nikita finished the night in second place. They were one behind with 38 for their Salsa.
It was joint third place for Karen and Carlos. The pair performed a Charleston and scored 35. Also scoring 35 was Lewis and Katya for their Cha-cha-cha.
Fourth place was also joint. George and Alexis did a Viennese Waltz and got 34 marks. Balvinder and Julian also got 34 for their Couples’ Choice.
Alex and Johannes finished the night in joint fifth place. They did a Paso Doble and got 30 marks. Harry Aikines-Aryeetey and Karen Hauer received the same score for their Samba.
Bottom of the leaderboard went to La Voix and Aljaz. They received a mark of 29 for their Foxtrot.

Who left Strictly?
Harry and Karen ended up in the dance-off with La Voix and Aljaz. during Sunday night’s Strictly Results show. The judges unanimously voted to send Gladiator Harry home.
The star, who is also known as Nitro, has since spoken out. He insists he is glad he “went out on a party” following his Samba with Karen.
What time is Strictly Come Dancing on this weekend?
Strictly Come Dancing returns to BBC One and BBC iPlayer at 6.25pm this Saturday (November 15, 2025). The show will run for one hour and 35 minutes, finishing at 8pm.
On Sunday, Strictly: The Results starts at 7.15pm. It will feature another dance-off and elimination, as the judges vote to send another celebrity home.
