What to watch on TV tonight: Best shows from Great British Bake Off final to Kim Kardashian's legal drama All's Fair
Can the world's most famous reality star hold her own in a scene with Glenn Close?
The Great British Bake Off should be at the top of your list when it comes to what to watch on TV tonight. But there’s loads of goodies to be found across the channels.
Don’t forget streaming, because both Netflix and Disney+ have premiered two massive titles today too. They are Squid Game: The Challenge and Kim Kardashian’s latest collaboration with Ryan Murphy, All’s Fair.
Murder Before Evensong airs its penultimate episode, while a critically acclaimed Hollywood chiller from 2023 closes out the night over on Film4.
Below you’ll find a detailed TV menu for tonight…

Best Netflix Series – Squid Game: The Challenge
This reality TV spin-off from Squid Game is back for its second season.
Dressed in those distinctive striped uniforms, 456 contestants are in for the “ultimate test of strategy, alliances and endurance”, per a description. They’re taking on this twisted format for the chance to pocket $4.56 million (£3.49m).
Fans are promised never-before-seen games and brand-new rules, which is reason enough to check out Squid Game: The Challenge.
When and where to watch: The first four episodes are now on Netflix.

Best Cosy Crime Series: Murder Before Evensong
Episode 5 of Murder Before Evensong sees Neil and Daniel’s burgeoning friendship threatened by an argument over the case.
Daniel reckons that discovering the secret crypt was absolutely crucial and believes it was linked to the murders. Neil, however, is more focused on his prime suspect Nathan.
A furious Audrey blows her lid at Daniel, delivering some home truths. He is summoned by the bishop to defend himself before Alex confides in him about a romance he’s been hiding from his dad.
When and where to watch: 9pm on Channel 5.

Best Drama: All’s Fair
Created by TV series machine Ryan Murphy – the man behind American Horror Story – All’s Fair gives reality queen Kim Kardashian her biggest-ever fictional part as Allura Grant.
In this new legal drama, a group of female divorce attorneys launch their own practice. Each and every one of them is “fierce, brilliant and emotionally complicated”, and they’re brought to life by Kim, Naomi Watts, Sarah Paulson, Glenn Close and Teyana Taylor. A powerful cast if we’ve ever seen one!
They’ll navigate “high-stakes breakups, scandalous secrets and shifting allegiances” inside and outside of the courtroom.
Kim’s character Allura is the newest senior partner to the firm. She has been described as shrewd and ambitious and is a dab-hand at securing multi-million payouts for Hollywood’s elite.
It seems like Kim won’t have to do much acting – especially as she has trained to be a lawyer in real life!
When and where to watch: The first three episodes are now on Disney+.

Best Reality Series: The Great British Bake Off
Tonight’s Great British Bake Off final features Jasmine, Aaron and Tom, who step up to the bench after Toby’s devastating exit last week. Together, they’ve earned an impressive eight Star Baker aprons and two Hollywood Handshakes, making this lineup one of the strongest in recent memory.
As for their final lip-smacking challenges, the bakers will rustle up classic iced buns and towers of French delights. Meanwhile, a teaser reads: “Whose biggest cake in Bake Off history will take showstopping victory?”
When and where to watch: 8pm on Channel 4.

Best Film: Late Night with the Devil
Released to much fanfare two years ago, supernatural film Late Night with the Devil adopts the chilling found-footage aesthetic.
Dune actor David Dastmalchian leads the cast as charismatic Night Owls talkshow host Jack Delroy. Things go horrifyingly wrong, though, when he invites an allegedly possessed child onto his show as a way of boosting ratings on Halloween night.
It has a 97% score on Rotten Tomatoes. Need any more convincing?
When and where to watch: 11.10pm on Film4.
