With Kit on his case and with Maria being suspicious of what Gary is hiding, a level of guilt was creeping up on Gary. And, it seemed that Sarah was the only one in the know about what he was fretting over. Things didn’t stay calm for long, as Gary quickly admitted it felt like only a matter of time before everything blew up and they were both exposed. Sarah tried to steady the mood, reminding him he’d been in a similar mess before and somehow managed to come out the other side. Gary, though, looked far from reassured, clearly baffled that he’d ended up tangled in yet another situation like this. With Gary already acting a bit off lately, Maria’s imagination didn’t take much to run wild, and she couldn’t shake the worry that something more than friendship might be going on between them. Later at the Rovers, Gary arrived just as the conversation turned to Theo’s death, and you could almost feel him tense up. Kit wasn’t far behind, following him outside and doubling down on his belief that Gary is the man for the job. He insisted Gary killed Theo and said all that was missing was proof. Gary shot back with a blunt ‘prove it,’ before walking off looking anything but relaxed. The episode then closed with a flashback showing Gary on the scaffolding, mallet in hand, staring down at Theo’s body below. Another twist could still be on the cards that throws Sarah into the equation. Let’s face it, she must fit into this somehow. The theory reckons that Sara actually got to Theo first and killed him. Gary then arrived at the scene ready to protect her and realised that she’d already bumped Theo off herself. He then helped her cover up her crime instead. The fan on Reddit wrote: “Sarah killed theo. And Gary is trying to cover it up, I believe.” Another fan added: “I think that Gary and Sarah know who killed Theo. Today’s episode made me believe that they are covering for someone who doesn’t even remember killing Theo. Maybe they are covering for Todd. “Or maybe Sarah killed Theo in self defence.” A third person shared: “If it was Miles then Gary has no reason to cover for him. We all know though that he’d do anything for Sarah.” So, did Sarah kill Theo? And, did Gary help her cover up the crime? Is this what they’re hiding? What else happened in Coronation Street tonight?
